Small Business Futures workshops are customisable to suit different community needs.

Our ‘in brief’ format provides an overview of market trends and opportunities as a foundation and thought-provoking catalyst for a strategy session for a particular group. Suitable groups include local cluster groups, regional tourism groups, chambers of commerce etc. In this format we present the key messages and use them as scene setting for the group to reflect on its roles and activities, and to map out a strategy for the short-term future to build on its strengths and neutralise its weaknesses.

Our most sought-after workshop format is a 2 ½ interactive format which provides participants with practical information on consumer, business and economic trends. The workbook has been designed to include time through the workshop for ‘working sessions’ to allow participants to address ‘what’s in it for me’ questions and apply new market knowledge to their businesses.

Our more intensive format is a 4 hour half day which provides participants with more time to interpret and apply information and ideas to their own businesses – in effect a highly focused business strategy session that clarifies goals and ‘next steps’ for participants. The longer format allows more Interaction amongst participants and opportunities to explore issues further with Kim.

Costings

In-brief format and strategy planning............................. $1,320 per session plus expenses
2 ½ hr format.............................................................$1,980 per session plus expenses
Half day format.......................................................... $280 per participant (min 25 and max 40)
As a stimulus for local small business growth we share income from the half day workshop with the local delivery partner. Delivery partners gather a minimum of 25 local participants and retain $40 per participant.
